Sparkling rose pink! A beautiful Victorian era long stemmed hatpin created from gold washed brass and a piece of sparkling glass in the most delightful shade of deep rose pink. The glass is held between elegant gold filigree on either side. The way that the glass has been mounted allows light to shine through it no matter what angle you view it at. Extremely Fine condition with no damage to the brass and no repairs. The stem is perfectly straight. There are three small flea-bites on the glass. One on each of two corners and a very tiny one on one edge. The gold wash has worn away in a few small areas of the filigree, allowing the tarnished brass to show through. No areas of corrosion. The worn areas are small and barely noticable. The really dark areas in my photos are shadows.
