A 1960s classic black beehive hat. Perfect with that short black dress, and tall black boots. Created from black netting and embellished with a fuchsia ribbon and bow. The inside edge of the hat brim is lined with fabric in a similar color. The rest of the hat is not lined.

1930s Straw Hat with Feathers
A 1930s hat that is so imaginative, I am at a loss for words. There is no milliner's label but the hat was obviously crafted by a skilled milliner. One of the disadvantages of no milliner's label is that I am not absolutely positive that my model is wearing the hat as it was intended to be worn. Created from a very fine gauge synthetic straw in a warm taupe colour. Size Medium-Large, 22-1/2 inches.

Warm fall colors. A charming hat from the flapper era created from brown satin and richly embroidered with flowers in golds and pale coral. The edge of the hat is trimmed in chocolate brown velvet with a chocolate brown velvet embellishment on one side. This hat is the brimless helmet style so populat in the 1920's. An elegant 1960s black straw hat. The straw appears to be a very fine gauge synthetic. The inside edge of the brim is lined with a beige fabric that has a slight sheen to it, like silk. A hatband and the floppy bow at the front have been created from the same fabric. Lined with black satin. Extremely Fine condition.The milliner's label reads, Joy Dorsey, New York. The hat comes with its original Joy Dorsey hatbox.
