How to Make a Purchase
All of my vintage items are very carefully packed. Vintage hats and vintage costume jewelry items are always shipped in shipping boxes. In addition, all jewelry items are gift boxed. I ship USPS First Class or Priority depending on the weight of the item. I can also ship UPS, if you prefer. My shipping rates are based on USPS rates. Shipping by UPS ground takes 5-7 days within the U.S. Shipping by USPS Priority takes 2-3 days within the U.S. The calculated shipping that is added to purchases is for U.S. shipment only. Additional charges for International and Canadian shipments will apply and International and Canadian buyers will be contacted via email to confirm additional fees. I take extra care to fully describe all items, including any flaws. If you have any questions about the item(s) you are ordering, please ask before placing your order. All of my items are antique or vintage and have been owned, used and worn by others. I try to purchase items in the best condition possible but all of my items are going to show signs of use. If you are not 100% pleased with your purchase, please contact Amber's Attic via email or phone within 3 days of delivery of your item to arrange for its return and a refund of the purchase price. I will acknowledge your request within 24 hours. The item must be returned within 7 days of this acknowledgement. The item must be returned via the original carrier (unless we agree upon other arrangements in writing), in its original packaging, insured (if available) for its purchased price, and must be received in the same condition as when it was shipped to you. In the case of jewelry items please do check the box carefully if you have noticed that there is a stone or pearl missing. All jewelry is carefully examined when packed but many of my pieces of jewelry are nearly one hundred years old and occasionally a stone or pearl will come loose during shipment. Please do buy Delivery Confirmation or Delivery Tracking so that you have proof of my receipt of your return. Buyer pays for return shipping and insurance, unless agreed otherwise between Amber's Attic and the buyer. Return amount is for item purchase price only. Shipping will not be refunded.
