Romantic gold locket! This lovely little locket is 10k gold over silver. Hallmarked as such on the back. The central heart rests on a larger mother of pearl heart. Perfect condition with its original chain. It is rare to find one of these with the original chain. Picture frames inside also present and in perfect condition. Only one of the thin plastic covers for the pictures is present. Overall condition Extremely Fine with no damage whatever to the metal. No noticable wear to the the gold. The chain has tarnished somewhat but the patina is even with no corrosion and looks very nice. This locket was owned by only one person and was purchased at the estate auction for that person.The clasp is the older spring ring type and in excellent working condition. Gift boxed in a black velvet jewelry box. (The box is not vintage.)
