Plenty of sparkling rhinestones! An interestingly curved black plastic hat ornament liberally sprinkled with bright rhinestones. No dark or missing stones. The two ends are curved. The stem is brass with one threaded end so that one piece of the black plastic can be removed to attach the hat ornament to a hat. Hatpins were declining in popularity in this time period having been replaced by hat ornaments that could be used to embellish the popular, tight fitting, cloche and helmet style hats.
