Perfect transclucent cobalt blue! A four sided hat ornament from the 1930's created from plastic in a very beautiful shade of cobalt blue. One would never know until picking it up that it is plastic and not glass. The cobalt blue is very beautiful with light shining through it. The carved triangular designs in the sides are painted antique gold. The stem is brass and one end is threaded so that the tip can be screwed off. Extremely fine condition with no damage to the stem or plastic. There is a small indentation in the top of one side of the hatpin but this appears to be a manufacturing defect, not damage as it is very smooth.
