Glossy French jet! This Victorian hatpin is comprised of jet glass molded into a spike and attached to a silver stem. The condition is excellent with no damage to glass or stem. Not even the tiniest flea-bite on the glass. The stem does test positive for silver but is not marked sterling silver. It is tarnished but could be polished to radiant silver if you desired.
