Click on a thumbnail image to see enlarged images.

A Victorian era fringed necklace comprised of brass chain from which dangle ornately capped turquoise and coral glass beads. A lovely variation on the fringe necklaces so popular during this time period. The chain is a very nice medium weight, not to heavy. The brass caps on each bead are delicately embossed. The round turquoise and coral glass beads are a nice size, 8mm. Each bead with its cap measure 1/2 inch from top to bottom. The first row of chain measures 17 inches from end to end. The three rows hang 2.5 inches at the center of the necklace. Extremely Fine condition with no damage to metal or the glass beads. The brass has aged to an overall nice patina with no dark patches of tarnish or green verdigris. The necklace closes with an elegantly engraved fish hook style clasp that is in excellent working condition. Not hallmarked.Gift boxed.(The box is not antique or vintage.)
