An elegant 1940s necklace and bracelet set created from sparkling faceted black glass. The large oval pieces of faceted glass are prong set in open back settings. The necklace closes with a hook that can be adjusted from 17 inches in length to 13 inches. This is very nice as you can wear the necklace as a choker or a bit longer. The bracelet features the same size oval faceted glass pieces in the same type of setting. It closes with an elegant filigree box clasp which is in excellent working condition. Plenty of spring left in the tonque that slips into the box. This can be an issue with older box clasps. The bracelet is 7-1/2 inches long when closed. Overall condition is extremely fine with only a few extremely tiny flea bites. Nothing that would be seen except on very close observation. No scratches! Really a remarkably beautiful set that was worn gently and well cared for. Not hallmarked. Gift boxed in a velvet jewelry box. (The box is not antique or vintage.)
