From the Art Deco era, a unique pendant created from brass and set with a large oval piece of yellow glass cut en cabochon. The glass cabochon has been created to simulate a star sapphire with the points of the star extending all the way to the edges. Bezel set in brass and surrounded with a delicate edge of hammered brass. The pendant hangs from a nicely detailed paper clip chain. The chain is not one long piece of chain but actually two lengths, each 10-1/2 inches long that are attached to the pendant by jump rings. The necklace closes with a spring ring clasp. Extremely Fine condition with no damage to glass or metal. Not hallmarked. The spring ring clasp is in excellent working condition.
