Vintage 1940s Green Velvet Hat

An elegant 1940s skull cap style hat. Created from a spiraling band of luscious forest green velvet that has been crotcheted together to allow a 1/2 inch lacey space between the edges of the velvet. Embellished with two green velvet bows at the back and two twists of velvet across the top and down one side. Extremely Fine condition with no damage to the velvet. Not lined. Size, Small-Medium. Measures 22 inches around the interior grosgrain band but does fit snugly. If your head is 21-1/2 inches, it will fit you perfectly. No milliner's label.
