Tres chic. A very sweet vintage French chapeau created by Christian Dior from deep purple lace and deep purple satin ribbon. The color is nearly navy blue but not quite. I was unable to capture the nuance of color in my images. It is very beautiful. A small burgundy satin bow is attached to the side. Lined with stiff deep purple lace. The interior hatband is rolled burgundy satin ribbon. Beautifully crafted, of course. The hat fits closely to the head. Extremely Fine condition with no damage or repairs. Clean and sweet smelling. Size: Medium, 22-1/2 inches. The milliner's label reads, 'Christian Dior chapeau, Paris, New York'. Comes with a hatbox. (hatbox is not vintage)
