For the Queen of Summer! A hat covered with full blown silk roses and dainty silk rose buds in shades of palest pink, deep pink and magenta. A scattering of small star shaped flowers of white silk peek from behind the roses. Their leaves are curly bits of green paper. The rose leaves are silk. All of the flowers are attached to a green woven jute base. The hat is shaped to curve up in the front and then it curves down over the ears slightly and then a bit lower in the back. A summer delight! The condition of this hat is Extremely Fine with no damage, tears, repairs, stains or strange odors. It does not appear to have ever been worn. The roses are slightly crushed from being stored in their hat box and a few have slight fraying to the edges of the petals. The hat comes with its original 'Cecille of New York' hat box. The hat itself bears the milliner label, 'Cecille of New York.' Size Large, 23 inches.
