Lovely roses & lily of the valley! A rare Victorian beauty comprised of a brass repousse lily of the valley & filigree leaf design on the front and finely detailed engravings of roses on the inside and on the back. Extremely Fine condition with no damage to the metal. The locket opens and closes perfectly. There are no frames inside the locket to hold images in place. No dents, dings or scratches. The chain appears to be original to the locket and closes with a spring ring clasp that is in good working condition. It is difficult to find these old lockets with their original chains. The brass of both the locket and the chain has aged to a nice warm patina. It can of course be cleaned so that it is bright and shiny. I will do that for you, if you prefer that to the vintage look.
