A Victorian matched set!! These bangles are perfectly matched and in Extremely Fine condition. Although not marked, they do appear to be gold-filled with the flexible band having a higher content of gold than the ends. The flexible band is very light in weight with the engraved box tips being slightly heavier. The top and bottom of the boxes behind the wing shaped pieces have a very nice scrollwork design embellished with copper droplets. On one bracelet, one copper droplet on each side at the end of one of the pieces of scrollwork is missing. Other than that no damage or repairs to the metal. The fronts of the tips do show slight signs of wear with very fine surface scratches. The flexible band is a perfect fit for a 7 inch or larger wrist but just a bit loose for a smaller wrist. Not marked. (Item #10283)
