Elegant green spider! This large spider brooch is comprised of faceted glass in the most beautiful shade of emerald green. Her eyes and the largest piece of glass that makes up her abdomen are prong set while the thorax is bezel set. The metal is gilded brass. Very good vintage condition with absolutely no damage whatever to the glass. Not even the tiniest little flea-bite. The gilding has worn off is a few places and the tarnished brass shows through in these areas. There is no damage or repairs to the metal and the clasp appears to be original.
