A Parisian feather! And a very artistically designed one at that! The feather is not flat but curls, just like a small fluffy real feather. It closes with a European style trombone clasp that follows the curve of the feather's spine. The pin is comprised of gilded brass and is in excellent condition with no damage to the metal, corrosion or verdigris (green moldy looking stuff). It has tarnished to a very nice patina but could be shined to a dazzling gold if you like. Signed 'Henry A La Pensee, Paris'. The clasp is in excellent working condition.(Item # 10136)
